I'm addicted to producing and presenting work fast. As soon as I'm done with a project I publish it somewhere, this I do because if I don't present it right away I will never show it. I get sick of my own work very fast and don't even want to look at it a week after it's done. Artistic version of pump and dump. Recently I've been asked a lot if I have a website or a portfolio somewhere and I find myself recalcitrant to say yes. I do of course have a portfolio page, as a matter of fact I have several - I make new ones all the time because I grow tired of them. My most recent one is from 6 months ago, but I don't want to show that one because the work does not feel relevant any-more. So I've decided to make a slow-art tumblr where I'm only going to present work that I still like - even if it's been six months or longer since I produced it. So far I have only posted one thing, a piece called multiplicity that I made last year (not the image above). I am going to screen some more work and hopefully post something new soon. I also have a portfolio with fast-art, recent things that I'm still happy with - but that might not make the cut in six months. Slow-art here --> http://thingsivemadeandstilllike.tumblr.com/ |

THINGS THAT I HAVE MADE AND STILL LIKE
